Miyazaki movie of Howl's Moving Castle

Where have I been? I hadn't heard that Hayao Miyazaki was doing a film version of Diana Wynne Jones' fabulous book Howl's Moving Castle. I can't wait! [via Neil Gaiman's journal]

If you know someone who loves all things Harry Potter, they should check out books by Diana Wynne Jones and Jane Yolen if they haven't yet. And the Young Wizards series and some other books by Diane Duane.

I'm really not familiar with any of these things. Even so, and in spite of the fact that you've clearly picked the seat with the best view, would it be okay if i wave a friendly hello anyway? ;)
