If I had more money and a house, I'd want one of the new Northstar retro '50s style refrigerators from Elmira Stove Works. And one of the forthcoming '50s style stoves. Not only do they have the retro look (but with modern features), they also come in many great colors. So beautiful.

My kitchen would be decorated in bright colors, I'd showcase my Fiestaware and fun atomic/jetset style stuff.

And "hooray!" for fridges with the freezer compartment on the bottom! That's what the first fridge I knew had and it just made more sense since you go to the freezer portion less than the fridge part.

Yes, freezer on the bottom is by far the best, but hard to get! We always had one growing up, I think because my mom was tall (but I'm short like my father). If we had one now, I know it would be easier for my husband's back.
