Um. Am I reading this right? Did Yahoo only just now add this little weblog to their directory? I'm linked to from What's New on Yahoo - Social Science (Wed Mar 5, 2003) and I don't see my weblog linked from anywhere else on Yahoo. Huh.
This weblog has been around since about August 1998. When I submitted it to Yahoo, it was probably late '98 or maybe the first half of 1999.
So either they've got one heckuva backlog or else maybe someone just recently stumbled on my little weblog and added it.
I know this weblog was one of the first 30 or so weblogs listed at Open Directory back in the day, I haven't honestly bothered checking to see when/where else I've been listed.
I'll take all the links I can get, though. I'm pleased I'm weblogging again, wish more friends and strangers would check in.
well, pinging weblogs.com as you are doing is good first step. have you tried commenting on other folks' sites? It's been so long since you were regularly posting, you probably need to to the things that starting-out webloggers would have to do.

The sad thing is, I never had to do any of those things that new webloggers have to do. When I started, there were so few of us we all linked to each other. It was sortof a big deal whenever a new weblog was discovered.
So it's not quite an alien concept to me: having to promote one's weblog. I hate promoting my own projects, I'm much better at promoting other people's. I do, of course, know some things to do. I just feel sheepish doing 'em. (If I were better at this, www.TVPicks.net would have more readers).

Me, checking in. I love the colors and the links to interesting sites. Very cool weblog.
